What this site is and how it handles data

titr.kz is a WordPress site that publishes articles and also runs a store powered by WooCommerce. There is one administrative user account; public registration is closed. We do not run ads, affiliate programs, a newsletter, or analytics trackers on this site. There is no contact form. If you need to reach us, please email one of the addresses listed at the end of this policy.

Information you provide to us

You may share information with us in two main ways: by placing an order and by posting a comment on a post.

Orders and payments

When you buy from our store, WooCommerce records the details needed to fulfill your order. This typically includes your name, billing and shipping addresses, contact email and phone number, items purchased, prices, and chosen delivery options.

If you pay online, your payment details are handled by our payment service provider so the transaction can be authorized and completed. The full card number and security code are not stored on this site. We receive confirmation of payment status and basic details needed to reconcile the order, prevent fraud, and provide support.

We use your order data to: process and deliver your purchase, communicate with you about the order, handle returns or customer service, comply with tax and accounting rules, and maintain security and anti-fraud measures.

Comments

Posts on this site allow readers to leave comments. When you comment, WordPress stores the text you submit and the time of submission. To help with convenience, your browser may save your name, email, and (optionally) your website in a cookie so you do not have to retype them on your next visit. Your IP address and browser user agent may also be recorded for security and anti-spam purposes. Comments may be held for manual moderation before they appear publicly.

Cookies and local storage

This site uses cookies that are necessary for it to function:

– WordPress sets session cookies for logged-in administrators and cookies that remember comment author details if you choose to save them on your device.

– WooCommerce sets cookies to keep track of your shopping cart, recent viewing activity, and your session during checkout so orders can be placed correctly.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent the cart or checkout from working.

Server, hosting, and CDN logs

Our hosting environment and content delivery network keep standard access logs. These logs typically include your IP address, the pages you request, the time of the request, referrer information, and your browser type. We use these logs to operate the site, defend against attacks, diagnose errors, and measure basic uptime and performance. Logs are accessible to our hosting provider and site administrators.

Who else sees your data

We share information only with service providers that help us run this site and fulfill orders:

– Payment processing: your payment details are transmitted to our payment service provider to complete the transaction. We receive payment confirmations and related metadata but not your full card data.

– Delivery and logistics: if you order physical goods that require shipping, we share your name, delivery address, and contact phone or email with the delivery service so your order can be delivered.

– Hosting and CDN: our infrastructure providers process data as it passes through their systems (for example, server and CDN logs).

These providers use the data only to provide their services to us and are not authorized to use it for their own marketing.

Retention

– Order records, invoices, and related correspondence are kept for as long as required by tax, accounting, and legal obligations, and to handle returns, warranties, and fraud prevention. This is typically several years.

– Comment content and its metadata are kept for the life of the post unless you ask us to remove your comment or we moderate it out.

– Server and CDN access logs are kept for operational and security purposes and are deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.

Your choices and rights

You can:

– Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

– Ask us to correct inaccurate data or complete missing details.

– Ask us to delete data when it is no longer needed or when we have no legal basis to keep it.

– Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw any consent you have given.

– Request that we provide your data in a portable format where applicable.

To exercise these rights, email us at one of the addresses below. If we cannot verify your identity from the information you provide, we may ask for additional details to protect your data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

Our content and store are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our site or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version here and adjust the effective date in the page header or footer. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
